Olivetta Black Balsamic Vinegar 250ml

Olivetta’s balsamic vinegars are aged for five years in oak barrels. Grape ‘must’ is added at the end of the process to create delicious, sweet notes on the finish.

Description

Light in acidity and velvety smooth, it contains no additives (no trace of caramel) and no added sugar. You’ll appreciate its notes of red fruit, honey and quince.

In the kitchen, it goes perfectly with salads, roasted vegetables, meat and fish, as well as with either our Delicate or Robust olive oil in vinaigrette.

It forms part of the holy trinity of bread dipping on the lunch or dinner table: salt, extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

I’ve tried plenty of balsamic vinegars, but this 250 ml Black Balsamic has become a staple at home. I personally prefer using it when I’m cooking - its deep, rich flavour blends into sauces, glazes, and marinades without overpowering the dish. It has the perfect balance of sweetness & acidity, which makes it amazing for both savoury and slightly sweet recipes. Whether I’m deglazing a pan for a steak sauce or adding depth to roasted vegetables, it never failed. A small splash goes a long way, and the quality really shines through in every meal.
