Olivetta was created by Karl Schuster, an accredited olive oil sommelier with a lifelong connection to the olive groves of the Peloponnese in Southern Greece. His pursuit of purity, provenance, and ritual informs every element of the brand. From olive groves to tasting rooms, from product design to packaging, Karl's passion and expertise ensures that what you see, touch, and taste at Olivetta is the result of a deep knowledge and enduring love for all things olive. Olivetta was born from this deep admiration and respect for the olive and its oil; a miracle liquid with life-enhancing properties.
At Olivetta, we honour the olive and its history, and believe in the power of olive oil to enrich not only our culinary experiences, but also our fundamental health and beauty practices. What began as a love of olive oil became a deeper pursuit: to curate and create olive-based goods that truly enrich life through taste, beauty, and wellness.
Our design philosophy is rooted in ancient Hellenistic design, subtle haptics, and quiet beauty. We are inspired by the mosaic, an ancient art form that shares a deep connection with olive oil in Mediterranean history and culture.
