Provenance

The olives that produced this oil were grown in the ancient olive groves of Messinia near the town of Kalamata in the Peloponnese, Southern Greece. The combination of terroir and weather conditions for this harvest have produced an oil that is more delicate in nature and allows the natural flavourings to shine through.

Tasting Notes

This bright and zesty extra virgin olive oil is fresh and fragrant with a slightly sweet citrus blossom note. The lime comes through as a clean and refreshing lift on the palate.

How To Use

This bright oil can be used to enhance many dishes. It works particularly well in Mexican food and spicier Asian cuisine. It loves a bit of chilli or coriander, and together with our Olivetta White Balsamic, it makes a delicious salad dressing. Try it drizzled over pistachio gelato or as a citrusy finish to pancakes.

Use and Storage

Our oils are preserved in opaque packaging to protect them from light, which destroys the benefits contained in the oil. Best kept in a cool place away from heat. Consume before the Use By Date and within 3 months of opening the bottle.
